Usman Memon - Managing Partner and Co-Founder

Usman Memon is the co-founder and Managing Partner at Streebo. Prior to starting Streebo, Usman was part of the start-up team at Bowstreet. A pioneer in Software Automation, Bowstreet with its patented flagship product "Factory" was acquired by IBM in 2005. Post-acquisition, Usman held leadership positions within the Sales & Services organization at IBM and continued to focus on growing the Bowstreet portfolio within the IBM product & customer base.

Usman advises his customers on IT Strategy and Enterprise Architecture. He is an oft-requested technical speaker at seminars and conferences, co-author of a book (Programming Portlets, IBM Press) and has contributed to several articles and white papers related to Portal, Software Automation and Service-Oriented Architecture.

Usman holds a Bachelors in Engineering from NIT, Trichy and Masters in Mathematics from Ohio University. He is an avid squash player and enjoys reading in his spare time. He lives with his wife and daughter in Pearland, Texas.

Mohammad Ovais - Managing Partner and Co-Founder

Mohammad is a Managing Partner at Streebo and leads the BI Practice. Mohammad has architected a number of BI Solutions for Fortune 1000 customers including Procter and Gamble, British Petroleum, Johnson & Johnson and continues to push the edge on the BI envelope. With experience in setting up successful BI programs from end to end at many customers, Mohammad skills are always in demand. Mohammad has built a high caliber BI team at Streebo that contiues to deliver results and successes at Streebo customer.

Before joining Streebo, Mohammad held the position of Principal consultant with Kalido, Inc. Before his time at Kalido, Mohammad held various positions including Portal Architect while working independently with IBM, and Technical Lead at Bowstreet. Mohammad has a number of specialties including BI Business Intelligence, data modeling, data warehousing, project management, portal development and J2EE architecture.

Mohammad has a Bachelor in Computer Science from Rice University in Houston. He plays competitive cricket with the Houston Cricket League and lives in Sugar Land with his wife and two daughters.

Michael Chu - Technical Architect

Michael has worked as a Technical Lead Consultant with Bowstreet, Senior Associate with Bowstreet's Business Development and Analyst at Chase Securities. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Dalhousie University and an International Master of Business Administration from York University, both in Canada.

Mike brings a combination of deep technical expertise with a wide array of IBM products and sharp business acumen. Mike is a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on IBM’s automation technology and has over 7 years of experience architecting, designing and building Portlet Factory powered solutions hosted on the WebSphere Platform. On the business side, Mike can draw from his fourteen years of work history that spans diverse sectors including I.T. consulting, entrepreneurship and investment banking. This technology-business combination enables Mike to offer innovative, practical and robust solutions, by distilling complex situations into simple, digestible terms.

Mike has played badminton at the varsity level and always enjoys a good match in most other racquet sports also.

Stephen Thorne - Senior Executive Account Manager

Stephen is Streebo's Director of Sales and Marketing and has formerly held positions at IBM and Bowstreet Software. He studied at the University of New Hampshire and Whittemore School of Business and Economics and has a Bachelor’s Degree.

Stephen is an accomplished Sales and Marketing professional with 15 years of experience in Hardware, Software and Services. He focuses on setting up repeatable processes and leveraging best of breed tools like Social Software, Portals and CRM to collaborate, understand and partner for success with his clients.

Stephen has been with the Streebo team since March of 2009. He brings passion and expertise to Streebo’s enterprise software licensing sales, consulting sales, managed services, and overall solution delivery.

When not at the office, or on the road Stephen enjoys participating in a number of outdoor activities including snow skiing, mountain biking, little league and SCUBA diving. He is also active in a number of automotive hobbies.Stephen is a father and a husband and takes every opportunity to spend time with his family.
