The FileNet Solution is a set of standard portlets for the WebSphere Portal 6.x stack.
Being JSR 168/286 compliant, these portlets can be readily integrated within the Content Engine, Process Server and the FileNet Server to leverage the following services:

• Generic Inbox/Queue
• Active workflows
• Folder views
• Search Documents
• FileNet Document Management (Check-in, Check-out, Upload, Update and Delete documents right from the Portal)

Using web-services approach, the FileNet credentials for an individual user are stored in the Credential vault, thus leveraging an end user SSO experience.
