Course Description
Overview

This course is targeted towards the technical users and will enable them use the platform to rapidly create, share and discover reusable application building blocks- including widgets, feeds and mashups -that can be easily assembled into new applications or leveraged within existing applications. IBM Mashup Center is an end-to-end enterprise mashup platform, supporting rapid assembly of dynamic web applications with the management, security, and governance apabilities that IT requires.

This course initially exposes the techniques to users to tap into operational and warehouse data to create "data conduits". It also discusses data transformation features available in the Mashup center. Hands-on lab also includes exercises that leverage pre-built widgets provided by IBM to aggregate and assemble services. You learn to create rich User Interface and aggregate data on the client side (Mashups). An advance lab also covers "Widget Wiring" using Event communication technology from IBM. The course then moves on to focus on the Lotus Widget Factory, which enables users to rapidly create dynamic widgets without writing code. It then discusses the creation, consumption and deployment of the widgets as well as its wiring on Mashups.

Are you ready to unlock your enterprise data? Are you ready to mine your operational and warehouse data using IBM Mashup Center? Are you ready to empower your business users, improve customer satisfaction and decision-making using Widgets? Learn how to do so!! Rapidly construct reports by mashing enterprise data and external services on the fly - come join us for an exciting course on "mashing" and "widgeting"!
