Training Methodology
Streebo takes a radically different approach on training – there is no “death by PowerPoint” or please move into a “listen only” mode – rather we keep our participants fully engaged. Prior to on-boarding you in one of our training class, we will spend some time with you to understand your expectations from the training. Once we fully comprehend how you plan to employ this tool we will customize the training message to ensure your success. Our customers can choose either using the “Official IBM training” package or Streebo’s customized training package.

Customized Streebo Trainings
At Streebo we understand that “one size fits all” approach does not always work. Often development teams even within the same organization have different training needs. For instance experienced Portlet Factory programmers might be looking to get a quick jump-start on Portlet Factory 7 and smart phone web application development and they can get going with our 1-day “PF Dash” package. As compared to a different team that has AS400 or Domino background. This team might need additional building block components such as Portal Foundations or J2EE Fundamentals.
We have trained many .NET, RPG and Domino programmers and they have successfully transitioned to the Portal, Web 2.0 and Smart Device world. Further, some organizations have a need to surface SAP applications while others might be trying to surface Domino applications or reports from your Data Warehouse. Based on your internal needs, we can work with you to customize your training package to ensure that you are learning what is essential for you to be successful in your delivery.
At Streebo, every custom training class is a small project wherein you participate as a team member. The trainer leads the project as a technical lead. All our trainers are consultants who have Portlet Factory project experience under their belt. They will share their real-world experiences with the tool and the do’s and don’ts of Portlet Factory. In our training preparation, we will ask for YOUR real use-cases and attempt to deliver parts of the solution while training your employees.
