- Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.
- Conduct meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.
- Performing requirements analysis.
- Ensuring solutions meet business needs and requirements.
- Prioritizing initiatives based on business needs and requirements.
- Serving as a liaison between stakeholders and users.
- Managing competing resources and priorities.
- Managed at least 2-3 projects successfully from initiation to closure, managing customer experience end to end, working with the IT services company delivering projects for US based large enterprises, or large multi-national organizations.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented IT Support Engineer (Jr. System Administrator) to join our growing IT team. The ideal candidate will provide first-level technical support, ensure the smooth operation of IT systems, and deliver high-quality service to internal users. This role requires strong troubleshooting abilities, excellent communication skills, and a willingness to adapt and learn in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first-line technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, peripherals, and network-related issues.
- Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain hardware, software, operating systems, and productivity tools.
- Respond promptly to IT support requests via ticketing systems, email, phone, or in-person interactions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and networking issues in a timely and professional manner.v
- Set up and manage user accounts, email, permissions, and security settings in Active Directory and Office 365.
- Monitor and maintain the performance of IT systems, including servers, workstations, and network equipment.
- Ensure all endpoints are updated with antivirus, security patches, and OS updates as per company policy.
- Assist with onboarding/offboarding processes, including the setup of IT equipment for new employees.
- Support video conferencing, collaboration tools, and audio/visual equipment (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Zoom, WebEx).
- Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, support actions, asset inventory, and configuration changes.
- Coordinate with external vendors for hardware repairs, replacements, and warranty claims.
- Monitor system backups, ensure data integrity, and escalate failures or anomalies.v
- Enforce and support internal Information Security policies, data protection, and compliance requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of hands-on experience in a technical support or helpdesk role.
- Proficiency in Windows, Mac OS, and Linux environments.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 Suite, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
- Good understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, LAN/WAN).
- Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, and user provisioning.
- Familiarity with firewalls, endpoint security, and IT asset management practices.
- Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with a customer-first attitude.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and collaborate effectively in a team.
- Eagerness to learn new tools, technologies, and best practices.
- IT certifications like CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator, or similar are a plus.
- Experience with ITSM or ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, JIRA).
- Knowledge of virtualization (VMware, VirtualBox) and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).
- Familiarity with scripting or automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, Bash).
- Exposure to cybersecurity frameworks or ISO 27001 environments.
